Merritt Gaunt to Lead Guardian Glass
Auburn Hills, Mich., January 14, 2026 – Merritt Gaunt has been named President and CEO of Guardian Industries, following the retirement of Ron Vaupel. Merritt Gaunt has been named President and CEO of Guardian Industries, a Koch company. In this role, he will assume leadership of Guardian Glass, one of the world’s largest glass manufacturers. Guardian Glass helps people improve their lives through innovative products that provide daylight, security, energy efficiency, and comfort. This change follows the retirement of Ron Vaupel, President and CEO of Guardian Industries since 2014.
Guardian Industries and Atlas Holdings Finalize Sale of SRG Global
Auburn Hills, Mich., April 3, 2025 Atlas Holdings and Guardian Industries signed an agreement in October for an affiliate of Atlas Holdings to acquire SRG Global, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of integrated and functional decorative trim systems for the automotive, mobility, and commercial truck industries. The transaction is now complete after customary closing conditions and regulatory approval.
